Classes and Privileges.
The Society has five classes of members: Individual, Institutional, Research, Fellow and Student.
Student and Research members have all the rights and privileges of Regular members except that Student and Research members shall not have voting rights. In case of Institutional members, the institution shall nominate two of its members and such members have all rights and privileges of individual members.
Minimum Eligibility.
He / She should not be insolvent or convicted of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude or sentenced by a criminal court
1. A Student of recognized institute and in the age group of 18 – 45 years for student membership
2. Any Graduate or an Entrepreneur in relevant field in the age group of 20 – 75 years for individual membership
3. Masters / Doctoral in any field for Research/Fellow Membership
4. Any Institute in relevant field for Institutional Membership
To become A Member
A person becomes a member (Individual, Student or Institutional) upon acceptance of an application for membership by the Society and payment of prescribed membership fee.
Membership shall be for a period of minimum one year to maximum 3 years.
Research Membership.
A Faculty member of recognized Universities who volunteers himself / herself to guide the Individual member or student member pursuing research becomes a research member upon acceptance of an application for membership by the Society. There is no membership fees collected from such members. However, such members have to guide one or more research scholars for Master or Doctoral Program offered by Indian Universities through the on-line mail exchange or telephonic conversations.
Fellow Membership.
A prestigious life time award given by SIST, for the excellent contributions made in the fields of science and technology
Fees and Dues
The student membership fee is 300 Rs. per year and for Individual Member it is 450 Rs. per year.
Institutional Membership fees is 25000 Rs. per year.

The Society decides membership fees every five years. There is no fee for research & Fellow members for lifetime. Failure to maintain current dues with respect to payments shall result in automatic termination of membership. Membership or any right arising from it, in this Society is not transferable or assignable.
